ARM Devices will benefit from Windows 8
Steven Sinofsky was quick to make the matter on ARM based devices clear on the usual building Windows 8 blog. There were unclear speculation of what the new Windows 8 would offer for devices running on ARM but now it is much more detailed thanks to the blog.
Windows 8 will offer desktop support for ARM devices which will include all the office package applications. There will also be special application in the windows store that will have HTML5 accelerated support.
Sinofsky also added on the blog that all manufacturers of PCs will include special device windows on ARM which will be similar to the x86 version of Windows 8. He promised to release more details about the application on the devices later.
