Beta Users of Dropbox Get Additional 5GB
Free users of Dropbox are usually entitled to 2GB of free space to store their data. Now with the new Dropbox beta users will be given an additional 5GB free space to make a total of 7GB free space. Users will however get the additional free 5GB after they have downloaded the experimental version.
Dropbox is gaining popularity with many people as the cloud service even though many are enjoying the 2GB free space only.
Their competitors Microsoft Skydive are offering a whooping 25 GB free space for its users but the many conditions they impose on the users keep people off. The new Dropbox 1.3.12 (beta) is set to introduce more option for file storage and file sharing.
