Samsung Unveils the Chromebook Series 5 in Las Vegas

In this year’s CES, Samsung has announced the upgrade of Chrome book with a new Series 5 with a new chip.

The new Chrome book has a powerful dual core Intel Celeron processor to replace the previous Atom silicon processor that was a bit slow. The 16 GB solid state drive that was on the first version of the Chromebook remains the same as well as other exterior styling.

The Chromebook differentiate itself from the normal laptops by the fact that all its applications are cloud based. Even though this saves on space and memory use as well as securing data, it still is not desirable by many people. Going somewhere without good internet connection could render the Chromebook useless.
